The new Scarlatti album is out now!

Domenico Scarlatti is an enigma. Apart from his sonatas, hardly any of his music has been preserved, and we know very little about his life. What we do know, however, makes him all the more intriguing.

The sonatas are entirely individual and unique.
In making this album, I considered how I programme a recital of Scarlatti sonatas: which of them go well together or, alternatively, create contrast? The music is so lively that to me it calls for the feeling of a live performance.
